Imagine standing on a knoll behind 5,000 people in the twilight of a summer’s evening. Every person standing, cheering and clapping. This looks like your typical concert, except it’s all Christian music and artists. Then you realize this audience is sharing their faith through music. At that moment you feel like a tiny part of something incredible … the body of Christ.

In the last two years, Higher Ground has established a presence in the upper Midwest music festival market. Many of Higher Ground’s concert-goers were from North Dakota, Wisconsin, Iowa and all over Minnesota. Our proximity to the major markets of the Twin Cities, Mankato, Fargo, St. Cloud and Duluth is a real asset. The Twin Cities market is considered one of the top five in the nation for Christian music.

Higher Ground brings in a multi-generational crowd. Many people brought their retired parents and their kids and they all had a great time. We offer free admission to kids age 10 and younger (courtesy of Pizza Ranch), making the event affordable for young families.

It’s our prayer that God continues to use Higher Ground to reach all those who seek God in the upper Midwest. May we continue to honor our faith as we serve those whom God calls.
